Sue Kibby has a portfolio career. In addition to human resources consultancy and living in London she and her husband own a holiday cottage in St. Ives, which Sue runs together with a local artist/housekeeper.

With a BA in Industrial Sociology and a Masters in Business and Public Sector Strategy, Sue spent many years running human resources departments in large public sector organizations. Sue formed HaRd Projects to provide general human resources consultancy services and ultimately focused on learning and development both supporting providers and lecturing on the subject. Having run this business successfully for eight years she decided to use her experience to support other new small businesses and to train as a Textile Artist. Her expertise and interest in social change and how people work is an important aspect of her textile art.
